WOW, IMPRESSIVE ACTION SHOT, BEAUTIFUL, RICK

Rick Strobaugh replied:

Thanks, Nora. I see by your bio that you lived in Florida for a while. Some of the shots I have on e site here are from my Florida trip last December. It was very different shooting from what I am used to in the west with the big, open vistas. Florida is just sooooo flat, it was really a different challenge.

About Rick Strobaugh

Rick Strobaugh

My first real training in photography was photographing crime scenes, traffic accidents, injuries, dead bodies and autopsies as a Police Officer and later as a Detective in charge of our Crime Scene Investigation Unit. I eventually used that training to shoot more pleasing subjects in the way of landscapes, wildlife and close-up photography. After retiring, I travel a lot through the western US exploring new areas and shooting photographs. I find many of my shooting locations while running marathons, backpacking, hiking or just driving up dirt roads into the mountains.
